The two stated in interviews that they had been referring each to Ms. Omar and to a different freshman Democrat, Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, the opposite Muslim girl in Congress. Ms. Tlaib has additionally drawn hearth for remarks that her critics say gasoline anti-Semitic tropes, and Ms. Luria and Mr. Gottheimer lately met together with her to precise their issues.
