LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) — Christmas tree growers are assessing the success of the season and the challenges that lie forward on the 2019 Wisconsin Christmas Tree Producers Association Winter Convention.
Sentimentality is a contributing issue to the trade’s success. Additionally, the business profit pushes the aggressive enterprise to new heights yearly with robust tree and wreath gross sales. Tree farms rent native folks in Wisconsin for seasonal employment
“A family actually coming together even if it’s for three or four hours to pick the Christmas tree turns into more.” Wisconsin Christmas Tree Producers Association President Greg Hann stated, “It turns into things that you’re passing on to your kids generation to generation.”
The annual conference happened on the Radisson Ballroom in downtown La Crosse on Friday, January 25.
